Creating QR Codes

To create a QR code, open QR Codes and select Create.

Meetzi opens a creation screen with three sections:

  • Details
  • Design
  • Logo & Branding

Fill in the details

Start by entering a name for the QR code.

Then choose what the QR code should do when someone scans it.

The current app supports these destination types:

  • URL
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Booking Page
  • SMS

After you choose a type, Meetzi shows the matching fields.

Destination types

URL

Use this when you want the QR code to open a website.

You need to enter:

  • the destination URL

Phone

Use this when you want the QR code to start a phone call.

You need to enter:

  • the phone number

Email

Use this when you want the QR code to open an email draft.

You can enter:

  • the email address
  • an optional subject
  • an optional body

Booking Page

Use this when you want the QR code to open one of your Meetzi booking pages.

You need to:

  • choose an existing booking page from the dropdown

SMS

Use this when you want the QR code to open a text message draft.

You can enter:

  • the phone number
  • an optional SMS message

Customize the design

In the Design section, you can adjust:

  • foreground color
  • background color
  • margin
  • quality

Quality affects how robust the QR code is when scanned. The app currently offers:

  • Low
  • Medium
  • High

In Logo & Branding, you can upload a logo image to place in the center of the QR code.

After a logo is added, you can adjust:

  • logo size
  • logo border radius

When a logo is present, Meetzi automatically uses the highest error correction level so the QR code stays easier to scan.

Preview before saving

The right side of the page shows a live preview while you build the QR code.

From the preview card, you can:

  • copy the QR link
  • download the image

Save the QR code

When you select Create QR Code, Meetzi saves the QR code and returns you to the QR codes list.

The app also generates the QR code short link automatically in the background.

Validation rules

Meetzi requires:

  • a name
  • a generated QR code value
  • the matching destination field for the selected type

For example, a URL QR code needs a URL, and a Booking Page QR code needs a booking page selection.
