Cancelling Bookings

The Bookings page lets you cancel bookings that are still active.

When cancel is available

In the current app, Cancel is available for bookings that are:

  • not past
  • not already canceled

Past and canceled bookings do not show the same active management options.

How to cancel a booking

To cancel a booking:

  1. Open the Bookings page.
  2. Find the booking you want to cancel.
  3. Open the action menu.
  4. Click Cancel.
  5. Optionally enter a cancellation reason.
  6. Confirm the cancellation.

Cancellation reason

The current app lets you add an optional reason when canceling a booking.

If a booking is later opened in the details view, Meetzi displays:

  • that the booking was canceled
  • the cancellation reason, if one was provided

Why this matters

Adding a reason can help with:

  • internal record keeping
  • explaining changes to your team
  • understanding patterns in cancellations over time
